The sandblasting room is mainly divided into two categories based on the abrasive recovery method:
One type is wind (gas) force recycling type sandblasting room:
Wind (pneumatic) recycling sand blasting room uses the negative pressure generated by the suction of the fan to recover the abrasives, through the sand and dust separation device, into the sand blasting tank for recycling. The advantage of this recycling method is that the civil foundation is shallow, the conveying system has no mechanical transmission parts, so the construction period is short, the capital construction cost is low, and there are no transmission parts that need to be repaired, which reduces maintenance costs and downtime; the disadvantage is that the power of the wind turbine is larger. This type of sandblasting room is generally suitable for working environments where the length of the room is less than 30 meters and the amount of sandblasting is not large.
The other type is the mechanical recycling sandblasting room:
The mechanical recycling sandblasting room uses belts, spiral or scraper conveyors, bucket elevators and other mechanical conveying equipment to recover abrasives, and then enter the sandblasting tank for recycling through the sand and dust separation device. The disadvantage of this recycling method is that the civil engineering foundation is deep, there are a large number of mechanical transmission parts, so the construction period is long, the capital construction cost is high, the maintenance workload of the mechanical transmission part is large, and the cost of the accessories is high; the advantage is that the total power of the equipment is relatively small . This type of sandblasting room is generally suitable for working environments where the length of the room is greater than 30 meters and the amount of sandblasting is large.
