Working principle of semi-automatic sandblasting house

May 18, 2021

Semi-automatic sandblasting house is also called shot blasting room and sand blasting room. It is suitable for surface cleaning and derusting of some large workpieces, and increases the adhesion effect between the workpiece and the coating. Before sand blasting, the workpiece is sent into the sand blasting chamber. Switch on the electric and gas devices, turn on the sandblasting lights, wear protective clothing, close the main unit door, hold the sandblasting gun, turn on the sandblasting switch, and hold the spray gun to clean the parts. The ejected steel shots fall to the bottom of the blasting chamber, and they enter the elevator through the screw pusher to recover the shots. The cyclone separator device separates the shots, broken steel shots, and dust. The qualified steel shots are directly Enter the storage bin above the sandblaster and prepare for reuse. The broken steel pellets and dust are directly sucked away by the dust removal system and adsorbed on the surface of the filter cartridge. The pulse valve of the dust collector will periodically generate pulse signals to release the compressed air stored in the air bag and instantly form an expanding airflow to act on the inside of the filter cartridge. The dust adsorbed on the surface of the filter cartridge is shaken off and dropped into the dust collecting hopper at the lower end for regular cleaning.
