Working principle of filter cartridge dust collector

May 27, 2021

Filter cartridge dust collector refers to the method of blowing compressed air to remove the dust attached to the filter medium (cloth bag or filter cartridge); according to the size of the dust collector, there may be several sets of pulse valves, which are controlled by a pulse controller or PLC, each time Open a set of pulse valves to remove dust from the part of the bag or filter cartridge it controls, while other bags or filter cartridges work normally. After a period of time, the next set of pulse valves are opened, and the next part of the dust collector is cleaned by the ash hopper, The upper box, the middle box, the lower box and other parts are composed of parts, and the upper, middle and lower boxes are of sub-chamber structure. When working, the dust-laden gas enters the ash hopper from the air inlet, the coarse dust particles directly fall into the bottom of the ash hopper, and the fine dust particles enter the middle and lower boxes as the airflow turns upwards. The dust accumulates on the outer surface of the filter bag. The gas enters the upper box body to the clean gas collection pipe-exhaust duct, and is exhausted to the atmosphere through the exhaust fan. The cleaning process is to first cut off the clean air outlet air duct of the room, so that the cloth bag of the room is in a state where there is no air flow (the divided room stops the air to remove the ash). Then open the pulse valve and use compressed air for pulse blowing and cleaning. The closing time of the shut-off valve is sufficient to ensure that the dust peeled off from the filter bag settles into the hopper after blowing, avoiding the dust from being attached to the airflow after leaving the surface of the filter bag. The phenomenon of reaching the surface of the adjacent filter bag makes the filter bag clean completely, and the exhaust valve, pulse valve and ash unloading valve are fully automatically controlled by the programmable controller. Dust-containing gas enters through the air inlet. When passing through the ash hopper, some large particles of dust in the gas are separated by inertial force and gravity and fall directly into the bottom of the ash hopper. The dust-containing gas enters the filter bag filter area of the middle box after passing through the ash hopper. The gas passes through the filter bag, and the dust is trapped on the outer surface of the filter bag. After the purified gas enters the upper box through the filter bag mouth, it passes through the air outlet discharge.
